This was a group exhibition of artworks by Australian and international artists which looked at natural and cultural relationships within art and science.
The curator selected works that may evoke questions surrounding prevailing assumptions about the natural environment, and possibly provide alternate pathways through which to navigate, consider and understand our place in the world.
The exhibition focuses on the work of several artists who delve below the surface of ideas relating to the natural, questioning both romantic and pragmatic viewpoints, and the way we interact, categorize, name, engage, empathize, dissect, and inhabit the 'contemporary' world.
