The local North West Art Circle (NWAC) present works predominantly in traditional media such as watercolour and oils. The group presented workshops and presentations throughout the exhibition.

THE EVOLUTIONARY STRAITJACKET

Through a reflection on human interaction with nature, evolutionary ideas and a sense of play, Selena de Carvalho presented the viewer with paradoxes inherent in our contemporary relationship with the natural world. The exhibition incorporated an array of extinct animal costumes with moving images and photographic documentation of the artist and models wearing these costumes.
